Before the Treatment…
Avoid tanning/sun exposure 3-4 wks before treatment or use at least 30 SPF sun block. Avoid irritant topical agents 2-3 days prior. Avoid anticoagulants 7-10 days prior as able. Shave hair and clean skin in the area to be treated before arriving.
After the Treatment…
Sun block (SPF 30+) should be used for 3 weeks following treatment and 3 weeks preceding the next session. Moisturizer may be applied after each treatment. Makeup may be applied immediately after if the skin is intact.
The Treatment…
A test spot will be treated. For skin types V-VI we will schedule full treatment at least 2 days later. Number of treatments varies between 4-10 every 4-8 wks for optimal permanent hair reduction.
This treatment can be done on skin types one through six but treatment settings will vary based on your type. You will need a patch test 2 days prior to full treatment if you are skin type five or six. Take the quiz to find out what yours is!
